Lord Of Misrule - Rachel Caine

Lord Of Misrule is the 5th Book in The Morganville Vampire Series by the famous author Rachel Caine.

Summary:

Morganville, Texas. Just south of normal.
In the college town of Morganville, vampires and humans coexist in (relatively) bloodless harmony. Then comes Bishop, a master vampire who threatens to abolish all the other, revive the forces of the evil dead, and let chaos rule. But Bishop isn't the only threat. Violent black clouds promise a storm of devastating proportions. As student Claire Danvers and her friends prepare to defend Morganville against the elements - both natural and and unnatural - the unexpected happens: Morganville's vampires begin to vanish one by one. Discovering why leads Claire to one last choice: Swear allegiance to Bishop...or die.
For starters I am sorry I haven't been posting up much, I've been busy with coursework and I never really had time to read or post. Also I forgot my password and couldn't be arsed with it, but I have picked it back up seeing I have read a lot and I should be posting more Reviews, cause, well I love doing it haha I'm such a B O O K W O R M <3
So, that was the synopsis, and oh my god let me tell you the book was amazing, once again Rachel never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat, my nose in the book for hours on end and up late at night till 1am reading. This book had more thrill than the other ones I have read and it is slowy starting to edge it's way out of Morganville if you ask me.
Lord Of Misrule picks up where Feast Of Fools last left off (Note: That you will have to read Feast Of Fools to get a full understanding in what is happening in Lord Of Misrule, and maybe the other book's before these) Morganville was on fire that had been set by Mr Bishop and Claire, Shane, Michael and Eve all had problems of their own. Morganville residents split up into two teams, ones who are on Amelie's side and the ones that are on Bishops side. Both teams fight for the right to be the owner of the town, but Ameile suddenly leaves leaving Claire, Eve, Shane and Michael to deffend for themselves, and the neighbourhood. As riots, and more fire's start all four of them try to keep the city under control by splitting off into the jobs that Amelie signed them with before she left.

Shane to drive the Blood mobile, one that he is not too thrilled on doing so. Michael to go staright to the Uni to all the clueless students and keep them distracted before they start to think what's going on. Eve to go down to Common Grounds with Oliver, much to her dismay and last but not least Clair to try and find Myrin, seeing ask Bishop has taken him and kept him prisoned somewhere. Though the weather is not helping them at all as it is getting darker and a bad storm is approaching, with heavy clouds and lot's of wind.

Lord Of Misrule had me going the whole way through the book, I think that this has to be one of the best in the series (so far) just like The Dead Girls Dance. Rachel Caine never ever fails to dissapoint me in her books, they are an amazing which everyone should have a go. Caine has amazingly good talent that you can easily spot throughout the whole book, the way she uses words that make you hang onto your seat and that keep your head in the book at all time. I could not put this book down and I certanly couldn't go to bed, not because it was scary, but because I just wanted to carry on reading it. And that's why I got late marks at school haha. But no, if your thinking on havning a swap from all the Twilight saga and fancing a little different to bite on, The Morganville Vampire Series is here for you. With some sprinkled romance and comedy into it as well. Great Chapters that everyone of them is a cliff hanger, and so is the end of the book. Highly Recomended :)
